Our naughty Poldi
gave us another scare. Sunday afternoon we had to call the vet on call to come
and take a look at our filly. We don’t know what he was doing, nor how it could
happen but he has hurt his leg again,
and this time it was not the hoof but he managed to tear off a large
piece of skin from his foot. From now on we hope he will think twice before
doing funny things walking around because he will need care for a long time
with ointments, antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and painkillers. We sound very “happy” telling you this but
the scare has been pretty big and it could have been worse. As usual we are going to need your help
because lately the veterinary costs are increasing and it is becoming
impossible to cover all the costs for treatments. Will you help Poldi?
