The
Sociedad Protectora de Animales y Medio Ambiente Scooby will start a new
campaign with the objective to collect funds for the over 1.000 animals that
they have in their care.
This
campaign, which was named “Green Meadows”, was started to be able to continue
watering the 25 acres where Scooby is located with their buildings and their
animals. The area that holds the refuge
Scooby (province of Valladolid, in Castilla Leon) is a dry zone and where,
without extra watering , it is very
difficult to grow anything, so not even the grass that is needed as food for
some of our animals such as the horses, sheep, goats and donkeys. Watering this
extensive area means a high expense in use of electricity.
Green
Meadows offers everybody willing to help us the possibility of acquiring
symbolically one square meter of our land for the cost of 0,50 euro. This way
you will be able to actively participate in the feeding of our animals in a
simple and economical way.
