The photos show today's launch of the fundraising effort
in aid of the Scooby ambulance. The Scooby shelter in Spain is raising funds to
buy an ambulance so that the team can venture deeper into the rural areas to
collect strays and uncastrated dogs to take them
back to the shelter to neuter them. Many of the street puppies are galgo mixes,
an unnecessary consequence of the numerous abandoned galgos. The photos show
some of the people and dogs supporting today's launch. Thanks to everyone for
supporting the kick-off. Please let us know if you'd like to help to raise funds
for this project. You might be able to raise funds through a coffee morning with
friends, a car boot, a plant sale or a small raffle. Every little helps. This is
a much needed project and unique to Spain.
With many thanks
