Leny Marteijn (54) is walking with her Spanish
Galgos between Oudelande and Baarland
(that’s where she lives).
In Spain the galgos are used for hunting. When
the hunting season is over, the dogs are abandoned or end up in a killing station.
Leny adopted her dogs through Scooby, a
spanish shelter for animals in need.
On the left side that´s Eefje, 10 years old,
in the middle Axel, 13 years old, and on the right side
Chica, 7 years old.
The two female dogs can´t walk off leash, but
Axel can.
Galgos are lazy dogs. It is not necessary to
walk enormous rounds.
