Another galga and her litter of pups
And yet another
littler. All cream coloured - incredible but true! They will all appear on our website shortly. You will fall in love with
them. They are absolutely adorable. Mum is a little bit shy, but the puppies
are a bundle of energy! It is not fatherly love... I can assure you they are truly beautiful and seeing them all together,
running around, is
simply amazing. Don´t
hesitate and get calling to reserve yours! Kisses, hugs and licks of happiness.
Hugs, Fermín.

A mum and her adorable pups
This is a female Spanish mastiff who is as good and kind hearted as she is big. She is charming with people and a wonderful mother to her pups. Just look at how she is with them. She came from a shelter in Tomelloso which is about to close down and is up for adoption. She and her pups need you. Please adopt them. You will not regret it. Kisses, hugs and licks of happiness. Regards, Fermín.

Puppies, puppies and more puppies
Again, we find
ourselves with lots of puppies of all types: big, very big and huge ones. Also
some small ones too. This situation is getting out of hand and becoming a bit chaotic as we can't find homes for them all.
They are adorable but also a bit destructive. If I'm honest, I prefer calm adult
dogs, but now that they're here, we'll have to find them homes. Could that be
yours? If you fancy a bit of craziness and chaos (of the good kind!) in your
life, this is your chance. Don't let this opportunity pass you by!
Look at
them... They are beautiful. Please adopt one, or two, or three.
Kisses, hugs
and nibbles of affection. Regards, Fermín.

PENCILS and GALGOS
Pencils and
galgos is a project of help and support of the work that a lot of volunteers
are doing for the dignity, the health and life of the animals, especially the
dogs and cats and specifically that of galgos, through the sales of the
drawings made by Elena Lopez Valero.
The money
that is being raised by the sales of this artwork will help, just a little
bit, the organisation that rescues,
takes in, heals, vaccinates, feeds, runs, cares for and frees... thousands of
animals.

UPDATE ON RATONCITA
As planned,
Ratoncita's surgery took place on Thursday. So far, all has gone well.
Now, we're hoping that it will heal properly and that, in time, she'll
be able to walk again without pain and hopefully will forget everything
that happened to her.
We are sure that after all she went through, there will be someone willing to give her a loving home once she is ready for it.
We are counting on you to adopt her... and also to cover our expenses! :-)Thank you

Innocent victims
On
Wednesday, just as Fermín
returned home from work (he works as a teacher) a galga suffering from an open
wound had been brought in to Medina from Zamora. She was rescued from the
motorway after having caused an accident. As yet, we
still don't know what happened to
those involved, but we hope no one was hurt. Abandonment not only endangers
the life of an innocent dog but also that of innocent people. We wonder if
the perpetrator of this despicable action realizes this... Probably not; an action
like this shows a complete disregard for life.
Without delay, Fermín put her in his car and headed to our friend's clinic in Madrid which is 2 hours away. There, she was examined
and x-rayed, and endured it all with supernatural patience (it was almost as if
she knew they were all there to help her). Besides her leg, where the double
fracture was pretty obvious, the x-rays also showed “something” on her chest
which has not yet been diagnosed.
We devoutly hope she has no internal
injuries but we will keep updating on her status. If her condition remains
stable, her surgery will take place tomorrow.
We have named this little galga Ratoncita (Spanish for little mouse)
and she is barely a year old.
Please help
us keep up the work we do for dogs like Ratoncita and the
countless others that come our way by one of the following options!
