Holiday time - yiepiehh - and the dog? Just put him on the street...

What better then holiday time? Sun, sea, relax, funny!

And the dog? Never mind, someone other will think of him!

In the last few days many small breed dogs have arrived in Scooby, which certainly have spent their lives in a home. One of them, Little Tony, has approximately ten years!
Now, we ask ourselves, after ten years - well, also after only one year - what kind of person can think of abandoning a dog almost without teeth, three kg of weight, on the street?

Answer you please, 'cause we have run out of words.

Sugar Ray is a fighter.

He arrived in a very bad conditions and we thought that he would not survive.
But he did! For the last five days he has fought every single day and he won.
He's not out of danger yet, he needs all your positive thoughts, so please, don't let Sugar Ray fight alone!

 

New buildings

In Scooby we don’t have money but we have a lot of imagination and we think and think always  how to improve the situation of our animals so we built a hospitalization for dogs and now we are finishing the hospitalization for cats , obviously we could not use the same because the poor cats will be very stressed with the barking of the dogs so we will have a new one for them, in the same building we will have a laboratory for making the blood and urine tests and all the rest, also for using like a store place for medicines, and we are going to have a mini sleeping place for emergencies, because there are some days that we have many many volunteers and we need an extra sleeping place. Resue of a galga and her 7 dwarfs

Last Sunday we (a group of volunteers) rescued a female galga and her 7 puppies in Peniafiel. It was a tough rescue, and a difficult one but the result was very satisfactory. The puppies were too young to be separated from their mum and therefore we took them all together to the Scooby Residencia. At the moment we need financial help to pay the costs of the Residencia, the food and the vet. ….
