You probably remember
the little galga
who weighed a meagre 10kg when rescued at the beginning of
the month. The good news is that her blood work has improved a lot. The bad
news is that all the
toes on her
hind legs simply fell off one after the other due to the gangrene caused by the
vasculitis and the resulting bad blood supply.
There is, however, a
possibility to help her
with a 2 part titanium prosthesis, one part fixed to the bone, the other part
removable, kind of
like a shoe. So far, so
good... But the price to have it done by a specialist from Canary Island is
2600€ due to the extremely high cost of the
materials.
But you know us... We can't just rescue this little girl and then give up on her and put her down
because of a financial drawback. That's simply not Scooby.
For that reason, we
are, once again, kindly asking for donations to help cover the immense cost of
little Zuki's operation. Please help us give Zuki a second chance and a life
worth living.
