Bubby

Bubby is a podenca, who was abandoned one year ago, being an old

dog. She was afraid, we couldn't touch her, we couldn't approach

her. We just could put water and food around the places where she was, and it was like that for more than a year.

Three weeks ago we got a warning: someone had found Bubby almost dead.

Bubby was pregnant. A couple of days later on "Kiss Day",her puppies

were born. Only two of them survived, Bubby had a terrible infection and it caused the death of the third one.

After delivery, we just wanted to save Bubby, to heal her wounds,

and to learn her to trust us.

Now Bubby and her babbies are perfect, and they are ready to be

adopted. Muxu (girl) and Bakio (boy) are 3 weeks old.

Bubby is 10- 12 years old, she is a lovely dog, she just wants hugs

and dreams. We are looking a home where she can spends the rest of

her live, and know what love is.

We have an enormous number of galgos with problems and with serious problems, broken paws, dogs with Leishmania, Filaria, etc. etc.. even though our friends at the Clinica Mediterraneo are helping us exceptionally well, even then we need a helping hand, we need help economically, we need foster homes in Madrid for dogs with broken legs, because if we don’t there will be the moment soon we can no longer continue helping.

Here are the next 2 of our current cases, Franzini, she had 2 surgeries already and needs a 3rd one for fixing the joint And Pierre, he is Leish +, how you can see in a quite advanced state but with the proper treatment he will improve quickly we hope. For Pierre we are looking for a home now, for Franzini later, after she recovered from her surgery. But first we need financial support for both, for Franzini for the surgery and for Pierre for the blood tests and the treatment.

A transport with some delays

Nothing serious and it all happened when we had already unloaded the animals, but when we looked we saw that the tires in the back were really really used up and we could not get back to Spain that way, so we had to go to a repairshop and change the tires. This was a Saturday afternoon and there were no suitable tires so we thought we could change one for the spare tire, we started looking and found there was no spare tire. We don’t know how but we lost it somehow or someone robbed it. Luckily the guy at the Norauto shop was looking for us and found some in Turin, so the next day we went to that shop and changed the tires. So all in all an adventure but at least the animals all arrived safe and sound and without any problems to their homes in France, Italy, Switzerland and Slovenia. We need help
