Odin is a galgo puppy five months old rescued in Andalusia, with his front leg like this, I know that I am always begging but again we need a surgery, again we will speak with Margot , this history is really repeating too much lately , we can only help if you help us , we need money , we don´t ask money for publicity or things like this we need money to save lives , in the most of the cases we must help them because no-one else will do it, we rescue an average of four-five animals a day, normally all of them with a lot of needs , we are trying to do our best with always very short resources, we ask for money for food bills, vet bills, workers salaries, electricity and all these kind of things, whenever we have asked money for building a shelter we did it , by the way we are planning a new one. So we are a reliable org, poor but reliable, please help us to help them in this case is Odin but we have so many cases that it is difficult to update. You know that we are going to do everything what we can with him, we cannot wait to operate him until we have the money , but please don´t forget that we will need to pay the invoices afterwards.Kisses, licks and hugs from all of us. Scooby Black Beauties

Just like in any other shelter, Scooby has a lot of black cats. And we  still don’t understand why. The only unlucky thing about a black cat is  that you are not yet friends with them. I mean, every cat is beautiful  and has its own personality - from super lazy to crazy wild and fun. We have your typical lap cat and the typical shadow cat. But just because  these cats are black they are less fun? Not cute enough? Not beautiful? I don’t know…  Some pictures to show you that black cats are beautiful!

Christmas is approaching and of course we are thinking about buying

A nice initiative. Red Coins

In this case I want to thank to all the adorable members of the SBSO Baken school, this is a school for mentally handicapped children , they knew trough our friend Ann Smet about the galgo problem and they decided to do something , they started with the Red Coins Collection. They have been collecting Red Coins during two weeks among all their families and their relatives and they donate to us for buying food for our animals.Is this nice or is this just wonderful?. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. you have made really something special. By the way . Would you be so kind to join this initiative and to keep your red coins to help our animals?. Finally

What looked like a mission impossible, finally has ended. About 8 months ago a very frightened dog showed up around the refuge that did not let herself get caught. So the pursuit began... The volunteers followed her, they left food at the door and she came for it every day. She even watched us from a distance untill we left before she came over to eat. Weeks passed and one day they saw her with something in her mouth, which was not food but her little treasure: a little pup that she carried around from one place to the other, depending on her route. And now it became even more urgent to catch her! It took a long time, the pup is at least 6 months old and finally yesterday we managed.. now they are with us and we have the task of socializing them and make it clear to them that from now on their second chance is beginning. Or is it their first? Thanks to Cesar for his continued trying and to Mabel who managed to get them into the patio of the refuge and all those who helped to make it possible.

Once again, is always the same, a phone call, a whatsapp, a Facebook message , an email, everything is useful to get in contact with us , always with a drama, always with a problem, always an animal that needs help, in this case is again a galgo with a broken leg, an abandoned galgo that has been beaten by a car, and he needs a surgery, again our friend Margot will perform the surgery, we hope that everything will go well, but we will need your help , please donate we need to pay a lot of vet bills and without your help we cannot keep helping the animals.Kisses, licks and hugs from all of us. she appeared in a group of chalets in the surroundings of Zamora, one of our supporters saw her, she immediately phoned her family and they managed to catch her, she is very skinny and she has a hip broken, again another case for Margot from Clinica Veterinaria Mediterráneo, again we need your help, please donate , help us to help them.Kisses, licks and hugs from all of us. 3 Galgo puppies found in container

We can´t even imagine having a litter of galgos from 4 weeks old and one
morning, you take an empty box, put in there three of these tiny little
girls, take them to your car, drive to a public dirtbin and leave the
box with it´s precious content in it...! What will happen to them when a
few hours later the counciltruck comes by to empty the bin...!! Happily
somebody heard them cry and took them to the perrera where Scooby took
them right away to bring them in safety...Please God, come down to see
for yourself which monsters are among your creatures...!!
